Bed Voice Controller

The Wi-Fi add-on control for a hospital bed allows users with physical disabilities to control the bed position using voice commands. This allows for individuals who might otherwise not be able to push the buttons to adjust their hospital bed throughout the night to do so independently. Additionally, one can have greater bed mobility for bed mobility including dressing or transfers in and out of a wheelchair by being able to control the bed by voice while in otherwise compromised positions where they might not be able to push the bed control buttons even if they normally could. The current prototype uses a small Wi-Fi board connected to a relay board so that all of the normal hospital bed buttons function normally or can be controlled through Wi-Fi.
